Structure of RAPID Wexford

An Area Implementation Team (AIT) was established in Wexford in 2002 to develop a plan identifying the needs of each area and monitor the implementation of the RAPID Programme.  The AIT consists of the following membership in Wexford:

• Local Authority: Wexford Borough Council and Wexford County Council
• Health Service Executive
• County Wexford VEC
• Department of Social & Family Affairs
• FÁS
• Wexford Local Development
• Community Development Projects, represented by Wolfe Tone CDP
• Southend Family Resource Centre
• Youth sector, represented by FDYS
• And most importantly, 3 community representatives from the local area, elected by the general community.
