Community Voice Structure 2009

Community Voice is made up of representatives from a variety of locally based groups.  These groups are geographically based and issue based groups.

Three Community Representatives are elected and represent Community Voice on the Area Implementation Team.  They are responsible for feeding information into and back from the AIT.

Community Voice is the community participation element of the RAPID programme. Community participation is crucial to the RAPID programme.  At Community Voice meetings each member should be sharing information about their group and also feeding back information to their groups.

There are opportunities to get involved in other bodies as a representative of Community Voice, e.g. Joint Policing Committee, County Wexford Community Forum.

Should people feel that they need additional training to support them in being an active member of Community Voice this will be made available depending on funding.
