Structure of RAPID New Ross

An Area Implementation Team (AIT) was established in New Ross in 2002 in order to develop a plan identifying the needs of the RAPID Area.  New Ross is a whole town RAPID Area i.e. the entire town is designated RAPID.  The RAPID AIT consists of the following membership in New Ross:

• Local Authority: New Ross Town Council and Wexford County Council
• Health Service Executive
• County Wexford VEC
• Department of Social & Family Affairs
• FÁS
• Wexford Local Development
• New Ross Community Development Project
• An Garda Siochana
• Youth sector, represented by Youth New Ross
• 3 community representatives from the local area, elected by the ‘Community Voice’.

The RAPID AIT is serviced by the RAPID Coordinator.  The RAPID Coordinator for New Ross RAPID Area is Anthony Bailey.
