County Wexford Recreation Strategy

County Wexford CDB are in the process of completing a Recreation Strategy for County Wexford, as part of the Action plan agreed under Action for Change 2009-2012.  The purpose is to produce a recreation Strategy that provides for a coordinated and collaborative approach in developing and funding recreational opportunities across the statutory, community and voluntary sectors in County Wexford’

Recreation has been broadly described as ‘activities which a person elects to take part in which can enhance their physical, mental and emotional well-being’.
