The Board meets four times each year and forms specific working groups where the need arises.  The role of the Board is to:

• Increase co-operation between members
• Highlight issues of concern within the County
• Avoid duplication in service delivery
• Improve services in areas where there are gaps
• Implement an economic and social plan for the County

Strategy

The work of the CDB is underpinned by three strategies for 2000 to 2012.
