Niall Cussen
is a Senior Planning Adviser with the Spatial Planning Section and Heritage
and Planning Division of the Department of the Environment Heritage and
Local Government. Since January 2000, Mr Cussen has been a key member of the
team that prepared the National Spatial Strategy. Since the Governments
adoption and launch of the strategy in November 2002, Mr Cussen has been
closely involved in its implementation through interactions with Government
Departments and Agencies as well as Regional and Local Authorities.
Ciarán McGahon is a Senior Architect with
the Office of Public Works and is design team leader for the new Theatre
Royal project. His other main responsibility in the OPW is to advise on the
architectural / construction aspects of major state investments in the
sports and cultural sector such as Lansdowne Road Stadium, Sports Campus
Ireland, the National Conference Centre and National (Abbey) Theatre.
Matt O'Connor is a native of Wexford Town
and has been Managing Director of the National Building Agency since 1993.
He is an Architect by profession working in London and Kansas City for a
period of ten years returning to Ireland to take up the position of Senior
Architect with Dublin County Council before becoming Chief Technical Officer
of the National Building Agency.
e-net is a wholly owned Irish Company
based in Limerick and was established by Michael Tiernan in 2000 to address
the issue of the lack of broadband in the Regions. e-net provides cost
effective telecommunications products and services to licensed operators on
a wholesale basis. e-net manages the 27 Phase I networks, which are as
follows: Athlone, Ballina, Carlow, Carrick-on-Shannon, Cavan, Clonmel, Cork
City, Dungarvan, Galway City, Gweedore, Kingscourt, Kilkenny, Kiltimagh,
Letterkenny, Limerick City, Manorhamilton, Mullingar, Portlaoise, Roscommon,
Sligo, Tullamore, Waterford City, Wexford, Dundalk, Drogheda, Monaghan and
Carrickmacross.
Michael Sullivan, Development Support
Manager, Tesco Ireland, has worked in the business since 1981 and joined the
property team in 2000.
Ian Doyle, Planning Executive, Tesco
Ireland, has recently joined the business, previous employment includes the
National Building Agency Ltd and Wexford County Council.
Neville Conroy Principal Conroy
Architects Ltd. BA (Hons), Post Graduate, Diploma Arch. & Urban Design
University Of South Bank, London. Member of RIBA and RIAI. Previously worked
London with Bureau For Architecture & Urban Design; Spreebogen Berlin
Masterplanning, Smithfield Dublin Masterplanning: BSP London for Hotel and
Leisure groups Forte, Thistle and Copthorne. Established Conroy Architects
1995 projects include Retail, Residential, Hotel/ Leisure, Medical,
Education and Religious.
Derry Mc Philips is the director of
Deerland Properties. He has extensive experience in large scale property
development including the development of Trinity Wharf in Wexford Town.
Other projects include Harbour Place, Mullingar; City Square, Waterford;
Hebron Retail Park, Kilkenny and the Ferrybank Shopping Centre, Waterford.
