County Wexford has huge potential for growth, particularly in internationally traded services given the present infrastructure. Future development will allow the county to catch up with the rest of the Celtic Tiger economy. Strategic Plans are in place to facilitate this growth as smoothly as possible. The Industrial Development Authority has formulated a strategy which will facilitate this.
The IDA strategy includes a :
'focused and for new greenfield business, coupled with an added value focus for the existing base of overseas industry in the County. It will also include a comprehensive upgrading of IDA Ireland real estate in the county and the provision of new modern facilities to cater for the emerging sectors'.
